This half-timbered villa with a very characteristic brick design
called “fougères” is an ancient barn recently renovated (2006), with respect
for the traditional architectural style. Spacious, comfortable, brightly
coloured, well insulated, cool in summer, well heated in winter, it is
nicely located amongst fields and forests. An ideal shelter for groups
of families or friends wishing to spend their holidays or special moments
together, the villa is nested in a large garden, dotted with groups of
oaks, locust trees, sumacs, with a ravishing old barn and a large wooden
terrace partly sheltered, providing salutary spots of shadows for naps,
children’s games and barbecuing. It is not unusual to observe, between
two jumps in the pool, does and deer standing still on the edge of the
wood or squirrels chasing each others in the heights of the big trees.
Right behind the house, a small path leads to the forest trails (mountain
bike, walks) leading to the lake of Soustons and its sports facilities
(2 km away) or to the ocean shore (7 km away).
For your safety, this property of 5000 m2 is fully fenced and the access
to the pool can be securely locked.
Reservation
Open all year.
Available for rental on a weekly basis or for the weekend.
Rates vary from 700 to 3,000 euros per week and from 400 to 600 euros
per weekend, according to the season.
Special rates for smaller groups (less than 8 persons): by request, available
in the off-peak season.
Advance payment: 25% at the time of reservation.
Deposits: security deposit of 1000 euros for eventual damages, cleaning
deposit of 130 euros for cleaning at the end of your stay (refunded in
full if you handle the cleaning).
